Helping those who can't afford better hearing

My wife and I are both audiologist.  Almost every day we see patients that need hearing help, but have financial issues.  They don't qualify for medicaid, medicare doesn't cover it....there are a lot of reasons.  So we started trying to make a difference with this foundation.  It's primary goal is to help people in the Houston, Texas area obtain hearing aids. 
We knew going in to this that it was going to be expensive to try to help a lot of people.  In the coming posts we will be looking at ways to raise money to help those in need.  We are a 501C3 charity and so donations are tax deductible.
